God specifically encourages us as parents to raise FAITHFUL children. Titus 1:6 writes to pastors and elders that they must be men of unquestionable integrity who have “FAITHFUL children not accused of riot or unruly.” This is God’s standard for all parents, but a pastor who leads a flock, must of course hold up this standard.The word “faithful” is “pistos” and means children who are “believers who hold to the faith, truthful, trustworthy, and faithful in all things.” The same word is used in the following Scriptures:
Matthew 24:45-47: “Who then is a faithful and wise servant . . . Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.”
Matthew 25:21, 23: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Luke 16:10: “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.”
We have a responsibility to live this truth before our children. Do they see us being faithful in the little things of life? Do they see us faithfully doing the same things day after day without grumbling and complaining? Do they see us happily and contentedly changing diapers, preparing meals, and cleaning the house? As they SEE this attribute in our lives it becomes easier to train them to be faithful in the little things of life.
The opposite of faithful children are children who are “accused of riot or unruly (disobedient).” The word “riot” is “asotia” and is used for extravagant squandering (the same word used of the prodigal son in Luke 15:13). It describes one who easily gives into the flesh, worldly lusts, and appetites.
Pray for God’s anointing as you lead your children to faith in Christ (No. 1 ultimate vision for our children) and train them to be faithful and trustworthy in the daily duties of life and home.
It is a God-given principle that we, and also our children, will only move into greater things as we are faithful to the daily routine of life.

Let's get to the nitty gritty. Did you know that the Bible portrays the female as a suckling mother? We seem to have gotten so far away from truth in our modern and humanistic society that we hardly know what is normal anymore.
Further thoughts to my post yesterday regarding Breastfeeding or Chestfeeding.
The liberals don’t only want to get rid of the word “mother.” They don’t like the word “breastfeeding.” Why can’t they embrace the creation of the female? It is not only sad but scary that so many people are so deceived by the transgender propaganda that they want to eliminate anything that reveals the true characteristics of male or female.
I’d love to add a few thoughts to my post yesterday. Not every mother has the privilege to give birth to a baby, but every woman is created with the anointing to nurture and to mother. It is innately within her by divine creation. This is why the eradication of the word “mother” is a slap in the face against women.
I am sure you are already aware that Biden and his cohorts have removed the word “mother” from their health programs for the phrase “birthing people.”

Lying in the bath the other night I read the words in Psalm 30:9: “Shall the dust praise thee? Shall it declare thy truth? No. We have only one chance to declare God’s truth and make known the glory of God and that’s while we are here on this earth. When we meet the Lord, all our opportunities will be gone.
What’s happening in your home today? Is everything piling on top of you--laundry, dishes, and teaching the children all waiting to be accomplished? Don’t despair, dear mother. Don’t look at everything waiting to be done. Just tackle one job at a time. Priorities first. But do each task with ALL YOUR MIGHT. Not half-heartedly, grumblingly, or lazily. And teach your children to do their chores with all their might too. You will inspire this attitude in them as they see the way you work in the home.
I remember seeing a cartoon many years ago. It was a picture of a mother looking at the adverts in the newspaper. Around her were children out of control and the house in utter chaos. The caption read: “I’m looking for a job, I need a rest!”
Do you remember the account of Jesus when he was only twelve years old? The family came to the Feast of Passover at Jerusalem. On the way home, along with all the other hundreds of families returning from Jerusalem, his parents noticed Jesus’ was missing. They immediately returned to Jerusalem, but it was three days before they found Him.
Words and ideas are indivisible with God. It is the same with us. Our ideas and thoughts about any issue determine what we confess about it. And get this. What we confess is how we live! Our confession determines our lifestyle.
It is important to have purpose and vision in our lives, isn’t it? In our great role of mothering and homemaking we also need purpose. Purpose keeps us motivated. Purpose keeps us going even as we face trials.
King David was passionate about building as house for the name of the Lord, although his son, Solomon completed the vision. 1 Kings 8:17-19 says: “And the LORD said unto David my father . . . thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house UNTO MY NAME.”
Oh yes, time to get a new Bible too. This is the Bible I use daily. My favorite. It is the Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible, edited by Spiros Zodhiates. I use the King James Version, but you can get it in other versions too.
Oh my, it’s time we got a new DAILY LIGHT ON THE DAILY PATH! We have worn this copy out. We use this devotional every morning and evening at our Family Devotions. After reading it day after day, month after month, and year after year, we really wear it out. We love it because it is only the Scriptures—verses put together on a particular theme for each reading.
