Dear mother, don’t live your life by your feelings. Your feelings are not the truth and they are temporary. The truth is what God’s word says and it is eternal and lasting.
Is your heart burdened abgout what is happening around the world? There is so much evil being exposed. But we can’t just exclaim, “Oh, how terrible” and do nothing. We must take action.
As we think about coming back to God’s ways, we need to forever be coming back to our first love, don’t we? With all the distractions in our lives it’s so easy to get away from our first love for Jesus. There’s nothing more important than being in love with Jesus. This is the hub from which everything else in our life flows out. When we are in love with Jesus, we will love our husbands and children and everyone around us.
I am desperate for revival. Are you? I guess we should first ask, what is revival? It is turning back to the original, the beginning! We need revival when we get away from the first things.

As you learn to live an overcoming life in your home, you will be able to teach your children how to live an overcoming life. And this is what we are meant to do as parents! The way you live in your home and how you face your problems and challenges teaches your children far more than what you say.
We must always keep our first love aflame for Jesus and for our husband. Always be thinking of ways to keep it alive.
Be blessed in your home today, dear mother. You couldn’t be doing anything more important!

It’s easy to get discouraged. Our children certainly aren’t perfect and things can get overwhelming. But dear mother, lift up your eyes from the discouragements and fix your eyes upon the Lord.
His word to you is “Do not be discouraged.” He says this because He also says “For I am with you.” Thank God that He is with you. When God is with you, you can overcome whatever you are facing.

Duties are the underlying foundation of our lives and each day. As we are faithful to them, they give us freedom to be creative and do the projects that fill our minds. The end result of faithfulness is delight.
