We are reminded in Ephesians 4:32 to: “Be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another.” Did you know that this means to your husband and children first? And, it’s even more than what we say; it’s HOW we say it. An unknown writer encourages us . . .
It is not so much what you say,
As the manner in which you say it;
It is not so much the language you use
As the tones you use to convey it.
For words come from the mind
And grow by study and art;
But tones leap forth from the inner self
And reveal the state of the heart.
