WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE SING THE HIGH PRAISES? No. 1
The high praises of God in our mouth will . . .
1. DROWN OUT THE VOICES OF UNBELIEF AND NEGATIVITY FROM OUR FAMILIES
I am sure you have noticed that after praising God, with all stops pulled out and our hearts fully involved, for half and hour to an hour that we no longer entertain negativity and unbelief. The voices of negativity are more likely to influence you when you are dry, stressed, or give little time for praise and worship.
Satan's voices of unbelief and depression always seek our attention, but there is nothing like letting loose the high praise of God to silence them.
2. RELEASE FAITH TO BELIEVE GOD FOR MIRACLES IN OUR FAMILIES
When God’s people pour forth the high praises of God from their mouths, miracles happen. Our God is indeed a miracle working God and this dead, sick world needs to see a lot more miracles.
Psalm 24 tells us that when the gates are lifted up the King of Glory comes in!
Psalm 100:4 states: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
Psalm 9:1, 2 states: “I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.”
We must never endorse a form of Christianity that has no miracles. If we hold back the high praises we will be to blame for the lack of miracles.
To be continued.
Be encouraged.
