I WANT GOD TO BLESS AMERICA

GodBlessAmericaWe cannot call ourselves Christians or a follower of God if we do not agree with Him. A true Christian agrees with God's judgments and decisions. God has clearly made known His judgments on homosexuality, let alone gay marriage.

Men, to those who want to defend their acceptance of homosexual marriage on the basis of Scripture where Jesus states in Matthew 7:1, "Judge not that ye be not judged" does not mean that we should not judge between right and wrong. We all make judgments every day regarding what we should do or not do. If we should not judge , why do we present oral arguments before nine judges at the Supreme Court?

Those who wrote their disagreements regarding yesterday's post on the basis of being judgmental have also placed their judgment on me.

We are told over and over in the Scriptures that we must judge righteously (John 7;24; 1 Corinthians 6:2-5; 10:15; and 11:13 etc.). What Jesus is saying is that we should not bring our anger on people we disagree with, e.g. make a physical application of vengeance. Matthew 26:52: "All that take the sword shall perish with the sword."

Regarding homosexuality God very clearly reveals His judgment on the matter by warning after warning. There are at least 39 mentions of Sodom,. Sodomite, and Sodomites in the Old Testament and at least ten in the New Testament. All are given as warnings so that we will make righteous judgments and decisions, now and forever.

I want God to bless America.

Be encouraged.
